Tourism EXPO Japan (TEJ) is the world‘s leading comprehensive tourism event, established in 2014 to further develop the tourism industry and revitalize regional economies. It has grown into a platform where stakeholders from diverse industries, not just tourism, gather around the theme of “tourism,” supporting the promotion of outbound, domestic, and inbound tourism, as well as the creation of new business opportunities. It also provides opportunities for promotions and direct marketing aimed at general consumers, widely communicating the appeal of travel. The 12th edition in 2026 will be held at TOKYO BIG SIGHT. This year’s theme is “The Changing Nature of Travel.” It will feature content allowing attendees to experience the ever-evolving future of tourism, including advances in digital technology, the expansion of sustainable travel, and diversifying travel styles.
